Loïc holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry & Biology from the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Strasbourg (France). Currently, he is in the final stages of completing his master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, and Drug Design at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Strasbourg (France). He joined the lab in January 2024 to perform his master project.

Before joining our lab, Loïc completed two laboratory research internships. He contributed to various bio-molecular and genomic projects at the Centre for Research in Neuroscience at McGill University (Canada) under the supervision of  Dr. Brian Chen. Additionally, Loïc completed the first year of his master’s degree in the Molecular Neurobiology group at the University of Strasbourg (France) under the guidance of Dr Thomas Grutter. This master project involved optogenetic tools, with the aim of controlling a mechanosensory ion channel by light stimulus.
